Salton Sea South is a private six-hour excursion through the harsher, more ominous side of the region, where abandoned infrastructure, military history, atomic-age ambition, desert decay, and decades of strange stories collide. This is not the surreal resort ruin of the northern Salton Sea. The South feels heavier. Strategic ruin. Military ruin. Fallout-era anxiety. Forgotten places slowly being reclaimed by the desert. Spend the experience exploring selected locations for photography, filming, storytelling, paranormal experimentation, and the kind of wandering that only makes sense when the landscape already feels like the end of the world. What to Expect A private six-hour experience for groups of up to 8 guests. Stops are selected according to conditions and lawful public access, with time for exploration, photography, filming, historical context, and paranormal experimentation. Important Notes This is a remote outdoor desert experience involving darkness, uneven terrain, wildlife, dust, extreme temperatures, and changing environmental conditions.
